Hi, I’m Kelly Breen, and if you live in the 21st District, I’m proudly representing you in Lansing. My goal from day one has been to help us find common ground and make our state and our lives even better—together.
In my first term, I proposed legislation to boost teacher compensation and support our public schools, advocate for working families and essential workers, and make quality child care more accessible. I’m also proudly serving on the Governor’s Task Force on Child Care and the School Safety Task Force. I know how important these issues are to our residents, and I’m grateful for the chance to fight for our district’s best interests in Lansing.
Although I’ve spent the past two years striving to make a positive impact on our communities, there are so many other matters that need attention, from our post-COVID economy to inflation, climate change, school safety, and infrastructure. As your voice in the Michigan Legislature, I want to hear from you about what matters most in your neighborhood and community.

I entered public service to advocate for our communities and our citizens, and I appreciate the opportunity to represent all of us in the Michigan House.
MY PRIORITIES
The people of Michigan’s 21st House District are hard-working and embrace our diversity. We know that just a few steps from our homes we can be in front of our choice of stunning lakes, bustling business districts, or quaint downtowns. In all of the years I have lived here, I have learned that when it comes down to it, we all want the same things; we just might not have the same ideas about how to get there.
