Human Trafficking Forum for Local Elected Officials

  • 31555 W 11 Mile Rd Farmington Hills, MI 48336 (map)

Human trafficking is a modern-day form of slavery. According to the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, human trafficking is commonly regarded as the second largest criminal enterprise after drugs. Spend an evening with Kelly and other local electeds in Oakland County to discuss human trafficking in our county, best practices from around the US, and what we, as local electeds, can do about it. Speakers include Lt. Wendy Reyes of the Oakland County Sheriff's Department and Oakland County Commissioner Janet Jackson.

Come prepared to share what is happening in your community.

All are welcome.
